Barbara Ann Cline of Royse City, TX, passed away January 25, 2019, at the age of 79. She was born January 2, 1940, in Van Alstyne, TX, to Archie and Christine Short. Barbara was full of life and enjoyed music, dancing, and being outdoors. She loved to read, especially Danielle Steel novels and found joy in antiquing. Friends and family were treated to her famous fruit salad and baked goods, which they will miss. Known as “Great Mama”, she adored her grandchildren and always attended their sporting events. She was a very loving person and was always laughing and joking around.

Barbara is survived by her daughter: Kimberly Sexton and husband Robert; grandchildren: Chris Sexton and wife Alica and Curtis Sexton and girlfriend Crystal Anderson; great grandchildren: Wyatt, Anistyn, Kyler, Brennan, and Aiden; sister: Bobbie Henson; brother: Kenneth Short; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband: Kelton Luther Cline; brothers: Lester Short and Joe Short; sisters: Frances Stanley and Betty Smith.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location with Pastor Russell Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will gather with friends at the funeral home, Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
