Known as Candice Earley during her acting career, she was best known to television soap opera viewers as 'Donna Tyler Beck' on the ABC long-running daytime soap opera "All My Children" from 1978 to 2005. She got started in theater and arts programs while in high school in Lawton, Oklahoma and later won several beauty contests. She went to San Francisco in the late 1960s and acted on the stage in local theater before going to New York and the Broadway stage. She appeared in the original production of the Broadway musical "Grease". While in New York, she was discovered by the director of ABC daytime television and was cast as 'Donna' on the daytime soap "All My Children". She went on to appear on the popular soap opera for eighteen years until 2005. During her career, she made an appearance on another ABC daytime soap "Ryan's Hope". She also appeared on the game shows "Family Feud" and "The $10,000 Pyramid". She passed away after a lengthy battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy.
