Obituary of Carol Mae Miller-Watkins
Carol Mae Miller-Watkins passed away peacefully in Beulah, Colorado on January 17th, 2019 at the age of 89. Carol is survived by her children, Sheri Simon, Mark Miller, Dean Miller; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husbands, Richard Miller and Robert Watkins.
Carol was born on May 12th, 1929 in Pueblo, Colorado to Marcus and Melva Colby. Carol married Richard on July 12th, 1947; and had their three children over the course of 57 wonderful years of marriage. Following the passing of Richard in 2004, she re-married Robert September 2nd, 2006; and spent five years together before his passing in 2011. Carol is remembered for being a kind, patient, and gentle person whose sunny disposition and tender heart brought joy to others around her.
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home with internment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care at 1207 Pueblo Boulevard Way, Pueblo, Colorado.
