Mr. Carsey was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Mae Carsey; his parents, Frank Joseph Carsey and Jennie Cubberley Carsey; four sisters and one brother.

He was survived by two children, Marion Carsey King of West Monroe and Harvey John Carsey, Jr. of Baytown, TX; three brothers, Elmer Carsey and Albert Carsey, both of Washington, NJ and Eugene "Gene" Carsey of Sarasota, FL; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
