Maria (Hertzell) Wagner is buried at Arndt's Cemetery, Forks Twp, Northampton Co, PA next to her in-laws Adam & Rachel Wagner. Diggers beware there are Grave Errors on her in the records for Arndt's church they have her death as 1819 but per her burial records it tells the whole story she died 1849. Abraham moved with his 5 surviving children to Fulton County, Illinois April 1853. He was a Tailor & Farmer. 1850 they lived in Forks Twp, Northampton Co, PA next to his parents. 1860 Lived in Deerfield Township, Fulton Co, IL, and 1870-1880 lived in Greenbush Twp, Warren CO, IL. *6 Children: 1) Julian Ann Wagner b: 25 Jan 1835 d: 30 Jan 1868 Ellisville, Fulton Co., IL m: 11/14/1861 William Hiram KETCHAM (1825-1899); 2) Edward Wagner b: 10 Apr 1837 d: 21 May 1901 Prairie City, McDonough Co, IL m: 10/7/1875 Cynthia Anna ALEXANDER (1855-1888); 3) Sarah Ann WAGNER b: 13 Sept 1839 d: 24 Sept 1878 Sciota Twp, McDonough Co, IL m: 7/4/1863 Martin Webster COZAD (1840-1907). 4) *Susanna 'Susan' Wagner b: 2 June 1842 Forks Twp, Northampton Co, PA d: 3 July 1933 Prairie City, McDonough Co, IL m: Deerfield Twp, Fulton Co, IL 8/13/1865 Henry L. DIED: On the 2_d of December last, in Forks Township, Anna Maria WAGNER, wife of Abraham WAGNER, and daughter of Abraham HERTZEL of WIlliams township, aged 37 years, 5 months and 20 days. WAGNER OBITS Illinois:
Abram WAGNER, died this morning of the 25th, at his residence west of town age 76 years, 9 months, 25 days. Three children mourn his loss, Edward WAGNER, Mrs. Henry HITTLE and Mrs. Jacob BONE. Mr. WAGNER was a good citizen and had the esteem of all who knew him. The funeral took place on Thursday, from the house and the remains were brought to this town for burial. (Prairie City Newspaper, date unknown 1882?; *Note: Abram WAGNER died 25 Oct 1882, buried at Prairie City Cemetery, McDonough Co, ILL, *Notes at the Top C & B - Copy from Gratia had from Leta. (two Obits Sarah Cozad & Abram Wagner). -- Handwritten on the side: This Clipping was glued to the above Sure wished the obit would have said more.
