Cpl. Moore Russelville KY., was a Task Force Vanguard soldier of the 118 Infantry with the Big Red One Division. He had just been home for two weeks and bought himself a new truck. He visited family and friends and and elementary school where he made a speech to students. Josh was in his second deployment to Iraq and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandfather, Henry Rose and paternal Grandmother, Barbara Knight. Josh's parents were presented with three medals on behalf of Josh. They received the Purple Heart, The Bronze Star, and a Good Conduct Medal. They were also presented with an American flag at Josh's burial. A scholarship has been set up in Josh's honor and a soccer field is being planned for Josh's old elementary school that will be named after him. He was 20.
