Lois Jeannette Hodges, 82, of (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on September 22, 1936 in Falls Mills, VA, she was the daughter of the late Taft Jefferson and Ettis Carter Wagner and step-mother Virginia Dollie Wagner. She was a resident of Bluewell for 57 years and was a member of the Macedonia Church in Mudfork. She was a graduate of Graham High School and McClain’s Business School. She was the former owner and operator of the Dogwood Kennels in Bluewell. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and flea-marketing.

Survivors include her Husband Stanley Hodges of the home Sons: Stan Hodges (Jr) of Lexington, SC, Byron Hodges of Anderson, SC and wife Jean, 3 Grandchildren: Melanie Humphries. Matthew Hodges, Spencer Hodges. Brothers: Fred Wagner of Richmond, VA, Bill Wagner of Troutville, VA, Allen Wagner of Roanoke, VA and wife Judy, Larry Wagner of Bluefield, VA, Lynn Wagner of Richmond, VA and wife Barbara.

She has 3 great grandchildren and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Paul Delida officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell .
