Kenneth W. Wise

WELLSVILLE - Kenneth W. Wise, 89, a former resident of the Cuba area, passed away Monday (Jan. 28, 2019) at Wellsville Manor Care Center, after a lengthy illness.

Born April 11, 1929, in Butler, Pa., he was a son of Kenneth E. and Ruth Crawford Wise. On Sept. 17, 1949, in Emlenton, Pa., he married the former Mildred F. DeLong, who preceded him in death, on July 10, 2004.

Ken was a graduate of Butler County Schools.

He was a plumber for John V. O'Connell, in Olean, prior to his retirement.

He is survived by two sons, Stephen W. (Cynthia L.) Wise and David W. (Charlene L.) Wise, both of Cuba; a daughter, Rebecca F. Wise of Macedon; a sister, Barbara Sterner of Butler; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters.

Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba.
