Age 90, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away February 17, 2002. Mr. Lewis was born January 6, 1912 in Waynesboro, PA, to the late Esper Lewis and Nebeha Kashey Lewis. He has lived in Florida part time since 1960 and then full time since 1997 after coming from Woodbridge, CT. He was a member of First Church of Christ in Woodbridge, CT. He was owner of Connecticut White Trucks. Mr. Lewis was a sports enthusiast and an avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Lewis and sister, Mary Paulekas.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Hilda Lewis; his brothers, James C. Lewis of Southington, CT; Allenby (Shirley) Lewis of Haines City, FL; William (Stella) of Bristol, PA; and Harry (Jean) Lewis of Memphis, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 1, 2002 at 10:30 AM at TAYLOR & MODEEN FUNERAL HOME, 250 Center Street, Jupiter. Those planning an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider making donations to your favorite charity in Mr. Lewis' name.
