Mr. Alexander passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.
He was born February 24, 1933 in Mixon to Henry P. and Myner B. Alexander.
Wesley was a Baptist.
He was employed by Carrier Corporation in Tyler for 36 years.
Wesley enjoyed country living and all that it included, raising livestock, farming and tending to the gardens, and hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children, Vonna Alexander; his wife Bernice Alexander; sisters, Irene Northcutt, Tressie Pierce, Margie Henderson, Louisa Webb and Christene Maxwell; and brother Loy V. Alexander.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons; Wesley Lynn Alexander and wife Debora and Morris Neal Alexander and wife Dorothy, all of Jacksonville, daughters, Lue Ann Robles and husband Mario of Alvarado, and Katherine Arlene Hardy of Dialville. He is also survived by his step children, Artie Gene Roberson and wife Priscilla of Arp, Bobby Roberson and wife Donna of Tyler and Grady Roberson and wife M. J. of Beaumont; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan, Clarissa, Hannah, Michael, Ashely, Felicia, Hillary, Victoria, Chance, and twins, Haley and Brook; and 6 great-grandchildren, Bailey, Cole, Lindsey, Owen, and twins, Addisyn and Layla and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Zoellner, Logan Roberson, Max Roberson, Kenneth Slider, Michael Alexander and Wesley Holcomb.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, February 3, 2019 and friends are cordially invited to visit with his family from 1 to 3 o’clock in the Afternoon at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
