Jeffery Thomas “Tom” Reynolds passed away peacefully at 8:06 am on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

He was born on July 17th, 1947 to Walter and Elouise (Reed) Reynolds. On April 2nd, 1983, Tom married the love of his life, Lora Ann (Makemson) Reynolds.

Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, daughters, Vicki (Skip Wheeler) Reynolds, Amanda (Lino) Ponce, Elizabeth (Nate) Hallett, and Charley Reynolds; grandchildren, Madison, Alejandro, Hannah, Samuel, Lia, and Jonathan; his mother-in-law, Judy Makemson; brothers-in-law, Bill (Teresa) Makemson and David (Lisa) Makemson; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and two special “daughters”. Natasha Bailey and Heather Price.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Robert Makemson; sisters Mary Bea (Charles) and Pam; brother, Walter and three nephews.

In his younger years, Tom had worked at the Catlin IGA, and then he went to work for Hyster/NACCO. Tom was employed at Hyster for 41 years, then had to retire due to health reasons. During his years at Hyster, he had worked at both plants in Danville and made many friends there over the years. He also gained 2 more special “daughters” Kelly Jo Lowe and Rachel Duitsman.

Tom enjoyed fishing, watching sports on t.v. and he dearly loved watching his grandchildren play the summer sports.
