Harry "Hap" W. Jenkins, 80, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on May 8, 1938 in Canton to Harry and Lois (Powers) Jenkins. They preceded him in death.
He married Janice "Jake" Jenkins on June 2, 1997. She survives.
Also surviving are his four sons, Harry (Amy) Jenkins of Albuquerque, NM, Chad Jenkins of Dwight, David (Nicole) Jenkins of Chillicothe, Denton Jenkins of Chillicothe one daughter, Maggie (Brent) Keith of Lake Mills, WI, one sister, Norma Jett of Canton, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and his step mother Hazel Jenkins.
Also preceding him in death is his brother Jerry Jenkins.
Hap worked for Caterpillar for 41 ½ years retiring in 1995. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Canton American Legion, Pekin Moose Lodge as a legion level member and Canton Elks Lodge #626.
Per his request cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of his life will be at a later date.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with services.
Memorials can be made to the Children's Care Corporation thru Canton Elks Lodge #626.
