Mary Frances Seifert age 88, of Holgate died Friday morning, February 1, 2019 at Genacross of Napoleon.

Mary was born to Ralph and Catherine Deitrick April 27, 1930 in Defiance. On August 1, 1953, she married Peter "Bill" Seifert, Jr. Mary was a homemaker and formerly an aide at Holgate Quality Care. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holgate and formerly a member of Rosary Altar Society. Mary enjoyed tinkering with furniture and loved polka dancing.

She is survived by her daughter Rosie Rentz, Holgate, grandson Donnie (Melissa) Rentz, Malinta and great grandsons Blake and Ethan Rentz. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Peter, April 1, 2007; son-in-law Donald Rentz, Sr. and siblings: Joe Deitrick, Dick Deitrick and Cathrine Gibler.

Friends will be received in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holgate on Monday from 9 am until the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Father Nick Cunningham officating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Contributions made in Mary's memory can be made to the family.
