Born April 23, 1943 in Rowan County, NC to the late Clyde Alvester Watkins and Narvis Estelle Kluttz. Married to the late Richard Gary Burroughs on May 24, 1963 who died on 2012.
Survivors include a daughter Lisa (Mike) Hager of Lexington, NC; 2 sons, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Burroughs, and Greg (Sharon) Burroughs, both of Salisbury, NC; a brother, Gene Watkins of Amelia Island, FL; 6 grandchildren, Jessica (Nathan) Green of Lexington, NC, Zachary, Justin, Isaiah, Matthew, and Jason Burroughs, all of Salisbury, NC; and one great-grandchild, Baby Green.
In addition to parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Levi Garth Hager and 2 great-grandchildren.
