Nina Oleta (Boycott) Walker, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Chickasha at the age of 83. She was born September 16, 1935 in Pocasset, Oklahoma to Frank and Nina Estelle (Walton) Boycott.

She attended and graduated from Chickasha High School. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma and later received her Master’s Degree from LSU at Shreveport, Louisiana. She received her Certified Public Accountant in Denton, TX. She worked for Ernest Nikkel and Hankins & Powers Accounting firm in Denton, TX. She taught at Moorehead State University in Moorehead, Minnesota. She retired in 1997 and moved back to Chickasha.

She married Jim Walker on January 9, 1957. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, Jim Walker, Phd;

A daughter, Pam Walker;

A son, Daniel Walker and his wife, Peggy;

And a brother, Richard Burns;

Special friends Dr. Bill and Ginny Morris, Judy Boyle and Loretta Cavin.
