Walter "Mack" Hart, 86, of Beckley, WV passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 after a short illness. A native of Blue Jay, West Virginia, Mack graduated from Shady Spring High School in 1951. He served honorably in the United States Navy from 1951-1955 where he served tours of duty throughout the Pacific and Asia. He had a long career in the mining equipment industry. Mack had a lifelong love of golf and played in many local tournaments throughout his life. He will be missed by all his friends at Briar Patch Country Club.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Saunders Hart (1898-1968) and Vonna Richmond-Hart (1913-2001) of Blue Jay, WV; and his sister, Carol Sue Hart-Cooper (1938-2017) & husband, Jack Nolan Cooper (1936-2014) of Spring, TX.
Mack is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judith Evans-Hart of Beckley, West Virginia; siblings, Jim Hart of Daniels WV, and Lynn Hart-Lester of Morgantown WV; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
