Leonard Lukenbach died July 22, 1995.
Born November 9, 1913 in Scio, Oregon to Truman and Inez Lukenbach. Married Mary Andersen April 2, 1935. Marriage sealed in the Salt Lake Temple April 4, 1939. Mary died January 29, 1982.
Preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Elaine, 1947; one granddaughter, Jennifer Bailey, 1990; two great-grandchildren. Surviving children, sons, Leonard (Lucky), and Richard (Shirley); daughter, Susan (Rick) Bailey; sister, Luella Boedigheimer, Oregon; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Married Marguerite Harbach January 4, 1983. Her children, daughters, Mary Lou (Allen) Pickering, Annette (John) Lingwall; son, John (Dawna) Horsley.
Leonard worked as a produce manager at Safeway for 25 years. He returned to work for John Condie at the Redwood Road IGA for several years until poor health forced his retirement this year.
Services will be held Thursday, July 27, 1995, 11 a.m., at the Cannon 6th Ward, 934 W. Fremont Avenue. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 1995 at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East. Interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
