HELEN I. RODGERS
Mrs. Helen I. Rodgers, 89, of Summerfield Florida, died Jan. 23, 2019. She was the wife of the Rev. Dr. B.W. Rodgers for 67 years.

Born May 16, 1929, in Bellevue, Ohio, she was the daughter of Thomas C. and Francille Bowholtz Temple.

Mrs. Rodgers is survived by son Roderick Wilson Rodgers (Beth); two daughters, Andrea Rodgers Glee (Jamie) and Rachel Rodgers Nachlas (Arthur), six grandchildren, Justin Green, Jessica Green, Alexander Rodgers, Jacqueline Russell, Daniel Nachlas and Jon Glee; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, JJ, Emerson, James, Avie and Riley; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rodgers was predeceased by sister Mary Temple Stimmel; brothers Richard and Thomas Paul Temple; and granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Nachlas.

Throughout the years, Mrs. Rodgers was and active ember of Laubach Literacy Council; League of Women Voters, Church Women United; St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Point of rocks; Clover Hill Civic Association, Frederick; and Daughters of the King.

A memorial and Eucharist service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Bellevue, Florida, on January 31. The interment of ashes will take place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Point of Rocks at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Point of Rocks, MD or outreach Projects.
