Obituary for Perry William White
Perry William White, 80, of Goodnight died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Goodnight, Texas.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Lubbock.
Cremation & Arrangements are by Robertson Claude Chapel.
Perry's wishes were to scatter his ashes over the ocean at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where him and his sons avidly fished for marlin.
Perry was born July 12, 1938 in Muleshoe, Texas to Walter Lee and Lena Shields White. He grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High where he was an athlete. He married Patsy Painter of Lubbock and later married Sidney Mills of Pampa. He was very adventurous and liked salt water fishing, hunting, and skiing. He also loved horse racing, cattle, and the ranch life. Perry was a great father.
He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his sons, Patsy Painter Sanders; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include 3 sons, Steve White of Lubbock, Todd White and wife Christy of Keller, and John Perry White and wife Sara of Lubbock; 5 grandchildren, Woodrow White, Hannah White Burcham, Grace White, Madison White, and Sidney White; and he is also survived by Sidney Mills of Shamrock.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the Armstrong County Museum & Goodnight Historical Center, Lubbock Fire Department Benevolence Fund, or a favorite charity
