Services for Penny Sue Ford Reed of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. D.L. Lowrie officiating.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene under direction of North's Funeral Home.

She died Sunday, March 8, 1998, in Methodist Hospital.

She was born in Hamlin and graduated from Hamlin High School. She also was a graduate of several banking schools. She worked at First National Bank in Hamlin, Abilene Savings and United Savings. She moved to Lubbock in 1989 and was a bookkeeper at Monterey High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lubbock.

She married Milton Reed in 1972 in Abilene.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephen of Lubbock; a daughter, Leslie Reed of Lubbock; her mother, Beverly Fuqua Ford of Hamlin; a brother, Spencer Ford of Hamlin; and two sisters, Diane Harris of Lubbock and Nancy Lockhoof of Austin.

Viewing will be at Rix Funeral Directors from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at North's Funeral Home, Abilene.
