She was born June 27, 1960, in Warren, the daughter of John and Christine Dennis Simpson Sr.
She retired as a dietary worker with Trumbull Regional Medical Center and was a distributor for Mary Kay cosmetics.
She had been a member of Evans Temple C.O.G.I.C. and also attended Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Shameika Johnson, Antoinette May and Raven Carson, all of Warren; mother, Christine Simpson of Warren; brothers, John Simpson Jr. of Stone Mountain, Ga.,Willie Simpson of Duluth, Ga. and Don Simpson of Cincinnati; sisters, Cynthia Newell and Rosa Simpson, both of Warren; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Second Baptist Church, where calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. and also at 999 Miller St. SW.Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
