Mr. Cooper was born July 16, 1943 in Cobleskill, NY a son of Milton and Ulva (Clapper) Cooper.
He attended the former Cobleskill High School and later, began a 27 year career as a farmer with SUNY Cobleskill until his retirement.
Milton was a member of the Cobleskill Fire Department and enjoyed bowling at the Cobleskill Lanes, taking rides in the countryside, spending time in the park with friends, scratch-off tickets, word search puzzles, going to Fonda Speedway with his brother, deer hunting, and having coffee at Burger King with friends.
Milton proudly served his country during Viet Nam before his honorable discharge.
He was married to Eileen (Deems) Cooper until her passing on March 11, 2002. Survivors include his children; Debra, David, Deane, and Sarah, 9 grandchildren, his siblings; Wanda (Wayne) Cooper, Sr., John (Bertha) Cooper, Richard (Vicki) Cooper and Neil (Lorraine) Cooper along with many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Milton was also predeceased by a daughter Dawn.
Burial will be at a later date in the Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
