Catherine Faye Dodson, 58, of Garden Grove, California, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in Garden Grove. She was formerly of East Peoria.
She was born June 6, 1960 in Peoria to Merle Franklin and Rosemary Elizabeth (Rahn) Dodson. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a nephew, Carson Allgood.
Surviving are two brothers, James (Denise) Dodson of East Peoria and Gregory (Mary Lynn) Dodson of Washington; seven sisters, Rebecca Chirello of Tremont, Linda (Gregg) Carr of Hennepin, Diane (David) Oedewaldt of Bartonville, Rosanne (Jeff) Nau of Washington, Mary (Kenneth) Allgood of Altona, Christine (James) Barnes of Leonardtown, Maryland and Brenda (Jeff) Ciembronowicz of O’Fallon, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Her private funeral service and visitation will be at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Deacon Lou Tomlianovich will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria.
