Sheila Ann McNamee Taylor, of Havre de Grace, MD died on January 23, 2019. She was 82. Mrs. Taylor was born in Reading, Pennsylvania and raised in the Panama Canal Zone. She graduated from the Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 1956.

She married Philip H. Taylor in the Naval Academy Chapel on the day after his graduation in June 1958. Together they raised three sons, Philip Jr., Timothy and Christopher all of Seattle, WA, and one daughter, Kathryn Brink (Duane) of Havre de Grace, MD.

Sheila was a true Navy Wife, making a home for her family in many locations throughout her husband's twenty-year Navy career. She was an outstanding CCU nurse, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and travel - especially long road trips or the spontaneity of traveling Space A.

In addition to her children, Sheila is survived by three grandsons, Matthew Taylor, Shaun and Brian (Candace) Brink, as well as two brothers, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and a brother. She is to be cremated and inurned at the Naval Academy. Online condolences may be made at www.zellmanfuneralhome.com.
