Beatrice, (McDaid) passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2019 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Facility in Pittsford, N.Y. She was the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Connolly) McClure and had a rich and happy childhood.
She married Robert McDaid in 1952, moving to Henrietta in 1960 with their three children. They lived a very full and happy life until Robert's death in 1984.
Beatrice met and married the second great love of her life, John Nelson in 1986 and gained another daughter, Barbara and son, John. Bea was blessed to find two such wonderful men to be her partner in life. She and John enjoyed many happy years and John cared for her lovingly and devotedly all their days together.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert McDaid; her son, Scott McDaid and her brothers, Lester McClure and Wilbur McClure.
Bea is survived by her husband of thirty three years, John A. Nelson; her sister, Margaret Squires; her daughter, Cynthia (Robert) Warner; her son, Brian McDaid; her daughter, Barbara (Phil) Doolittle and her son, John Nelson; her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Nilssen, Joseph Warner, Ursula McDaid, Kimberly, Brianalysse, Nicolena, Clay and Anders McDaid as well as her many greatly loved nieces and nephews.
Memorial services took place on Monday February 4th , at the Skinner Funeral Home. Burial took place immediately following at Rosehill Cemetery in Eaton Rapids. Family and friends will convene back to the funeral home banquet facility for a luncheon.
