KENNY McKEE
January 12, 1939 ~ Jamuary 30, 2019

Kenneth “Kenny” McKee, 80 of Haworth, passed away January 30, 2019 at Texarkana, Texas.

He was born January 12, 1939 at Redland, the son of Martin and Grethel Taylor McKee.

A member of the Goodwater Masonic Lodge #148, Kenny was actively involved in his community.

He served as Under-Sheriff of McCurtain County under Sheriff Richard McPeak, Sheriff Bo Fields and Sheriff Bud Gilbreath. He was also a police officer for several of the local police departments in the late seventies.

Prior to his career in law enforcement, Kenny was a paint contractor and dozer operator. He loved to crappie fish and deer hunt. He enjoyed playing dominoes, especially moon, and trips to Shreveport casinos with his dear friends, Larry Ebahotubbi and Steve Clampet.

Family was very important to Kenny. He loved times of gathering with them and would always cut up and joke with his friends and family. He will greatly be missed by his daughter, Janet Loucks of Redland; son-in-law, Wayne Loucks of Goodwater;

Grandson and wife, Tony and Marie Loucks of the Pleasant Hill Community; great-granddaughter, Mae Ruth Loucks of the Pleasant Hill Community;

Brother, Larry “Sam” McKee of Idabel; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Needham of Idabel, Juannie and Bruce Shirey of Holly Creek;

Mother of his children, Deloise Pewitt and husband, Stan; his brothers of the Goodwater Masonic Lodge #148; his brothers in blue; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; son, Doug McKee; granddaughter, Katelyn Loucks; brothers, Wayne McKee and Roger McKee; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glendon and Ruth Sikes; brothers-in-law, Charles Knowles and Ray Needham; sisters-in-law, Barbara McKee and Jimmie Sue McKee.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Victor Balagbagan and Bro. Horton McDonald officiating.

Interment will follow in the Redland Cemetery in Redland Community with Masonic rites given.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
