French Alfred Stump, 77, of Grantsville, WV died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born August 24, 1941 in Grantsville, WV a son of the late Harry and Georgia Ward Stump.

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, retired from General Motors Corporation, and was a member of the Grantsville VFW Post #5959. He will be missed by many friends at Calhoun County Committee on Aging and his poker playing crew.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Florence Meadows; brother, Russell Ball; and brother-in-law, Doyle Hupp, Sr.
