Anne Meredith Newell born on February 18, 1932 went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2019 at the age of 86. She was a lifetime member of the Rebekahs and Independent Order of the Odd Fellows. Also past president of Local/State Order of Rebekahs. She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Evelyn Dye, her husband George F. Newell, daughter, Beth Ann Newell, son, Skipper Newell. She is survived by her cousin David McBee and his spouse Debra, her caregiver David Cervantes, her best friends Edie Cassaday, and Mae Nell Rhymes. Her close friends Veronica and Ed Garcia. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South from 5pm to 9pm with the prayer service to begin at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South at 11am, followed by interment at Mission Burial Park South. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Rebekah Assembly of Texas. Memo Irma Gesche Scholarship.
