~ Daniel W. Buck, 62, of Pekin, passed away at 12:07 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at UnityPoint Health – Methodist in Peoria.
Born June 26, 1956 to Clarence and Gloria (Imel) Buck, he married Marcia Perkins on March 7, 2007 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are his father of Pekin; one son, Daniel Buck, Jr. of Pekin; two daughters, Sharma Hopkins and Nichol Fisher, both of Pekin; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Sandy) Buck and Kevin Buck, both of Pekin and one sister, Allison (Dan) Gebhart of East Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister.
Daniel retired in 2012 from Midwest Grain in Pekin after 32 years of service as a grain operator.
He enjoyed the outdoors and playing with his grandkids, nieces and nephews. He also loved going to stock car races.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
