A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Edwin and Marie Jones Painter, she was a retired employee of American Hoechst, a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and an avid piano player.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Mobley (Kim) of Inman and Craig Mobley (Angela) of Lyman; eleven grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mobley was predeceased by a son, Bryan Mobley; one brother, Wayne Painter and one sister, Sherry Painter.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Fred Lyda, Rev. Walter Woods and Rev. Randolph Wicker. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
