John was born in Klek, Yugoslavia. He immigrated to the United States on January 22, 1947 and was a proud member of the United States Army. He and Maria owned and worked at Mayer’s Pastries, the iconic German bakery in South St. Louis. He will always be known as “The Baker”. The family would like to thank the staff at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley for the care they have provided to John in these last few years.
Funeral Service was held at Kutis South County Chapel, Mehlville, Mo.
