Daniel "Danny" Ernest Morrison of Midland, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019.
Danny was born July 21, 1951 in Charlotte to the late William "Gus" and Alleen Morrison. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Gail Polk.
Danny was a craftsman and builder. He could build anything and loved helping the community. Danny enjoyed finding and collecting shark teeth and seashells. He also loved horses and skeet shooting. Danny was a great cook. He made the best pecan pie, not to mention his own secret basting sauce. He enjoyed taking pictures of the sunrise and sunset. Danny loved his family most of all. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, grandpa and brother. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include beloved wife of 46 years, Kathy McLamb Morrison; son, William Brian Morrison of Midland; daughter, Dana Morrison (Urfa) Raouff of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Braedyn Lowder, Mason Morrison, Mia Raouff, and Carson Raouff; sisters, Peggy Love, Jane Lands, Deanna Morrison, Linda Jones, and Elizabeth (Chris) Walker; brother, Randy (Brenda) Morrison; and brother-in-law, Stan Polk.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 12700 Idlebrook Road, Midland. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
