CAROLYN'S OBITUARY

Carolyn Ann (Kraft) Richards passed into the presence of the Lord Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. Carolyn was born as the only daughter of George Andrew and Gertie Ann (Triplett) Kraft of Neosho on September 3, 1936.

Carolyn was joined in marriage to Elza Ross (Rusty) Richards on March 2, 1958. To this union was born three girls: Paula Sumner, Lisa Hughes, and Recia Lowery.

Carolyn graduated from Neosho High School in 1954. She was employed at the Bank of Neosho/CBT and worked as a teller from 1954 until her retirement in 1996.
Carolyn was a faithful wife and a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. Carolyn was a long time member of Bible Holiness Assembly of God.

She was a phenomenal cook and loved gardening and cultivating flowers.

She is survived by her husband, one brother Jack Kraft and his wife Carolie, her three children Paula Sumner and her husband Rev. Alan Sumner, Lisa Hughes and Recia Lowery. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Charity (Bretly), Jett, Rachel (Jacob) Vaughn, Lauren (David) Favre, Ruth (Jeff) Schneider, Trey (Allison) Lowery, Rhoda Sumner and Dakota Hughes and three great-grandchildren, Braxton and Bowdrie Jett and Grayson Vaughn, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jim Kraft and his wife Delores, and brother Lewis Kraft.

Services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Bible Holiness Assembly of God, Neosho, with Rev. Daniel E. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at King Cemetery, Neosho with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

In honor of Carolyn, contributions may be made to Ozark Bible Institute (OBI), c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho Chapel.
