A Graveside Service for Thomas L Coffman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:30 pm, Monday, January 28, 2019, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2019, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Tom passed away January 24, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79, following a long struggle with cancer. He was born December 23, 1939, in Nevada, Missouri, the son of Jack and Gladis Silverthorne Coffman. At a young age, Tom moved with his father to Arizona and then to California. After graduating from high school, he began working as a government contractor in various states, which included Arkansas. When he left his government job, he moved to Mountain Home and was owner and operator of Sandy's Submarine Sandwich Shop on Highway 5 in Mountain Home, before entering the construction business. When Tom lived in California he was a member of the National Guard for several years.

Tom is survived by his wife, Faye Coffman, of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Nancy Renfrow of Kansas City, MO; and two sons, Rick and David Weitl.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Care Center Ministries.
