Actress. She often played bubbly and seductive blondes on numerous TV programs as well as in films. Born Louisa Castro, she fled Cuba's political revolution during the 1950s and settled in New York City, where she began her career in television commercials. She made her motion picture debut in the low-budget picture "The Man From O.R.G.Y" (1970) and went on to appear in "Death Race 2000" (1975), "Sixpack Annie" (1975), "Cannonball!" (1976), and "Up in Smoke" (1978). She will perhaps be remembered by movie audiences for playing 'Rose' in the Academy Award winning "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (1975). Her TV credits include "Love, American Style," "M*A*S*H," and "Happy Days." She retired from acting and attained a Law degree in Los Angeles where she practiced.
