Monica Masuda Lowe, 88, of Lansdale, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 surrounded by her family in Abington-Lansdale Hospital.
Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Mohamed & Nora E. Yasin.
Monica thoroughly embraced and enjoyed her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also loved spending time at the shore with her extended family. She traveled to many countries throughout her years.
Monica is survived by her daughter, Diana Locke (Joseph), of Cross City, FL; her son, Eric Frankhouser, of Perkiomenville; her grandchildren, Laura, Daniel (Liz), Brent, Krissy, Lindsey, Jonathan, Alyssa; her great grandchildren, Reed and Kaidyn; her sister, Sylvia Meanwell (Bob); her brothers, Johnny Sadiq (Etsuko) and Yusuf Sadiq (Helen); and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Saturday, March 18 after 12:00 p.m. in the Church of the Messiah, 1001 Dekalb Pike, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002 and are invited to attend her memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Monica may be made to the Belfry Bargains Thrift Shop, where she volunteered for many years, at the church address above.
