County Woman Passes Away Early Sunday

Mrs. Nola Allbritten, age 78, passed away on Sunday at 6:20 a.m. following an illness of seveal years. She was the widow of the late Bluford Allbritten who died in 1935.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Robbie Bucy of New Concord; five sons, Burbon of Detroit, James of Detroit, Leon of Cairo, Illinois, I. B. of Cairo, Illinois, Wendell of Murray route five; two sisters, Mrs. Kelly Smith of New Concord, and Mrs. Russ McCuiston of Evansville, Indiana; two brothers, Roy Marr of New Concord, and Charlie Marr of Murray.
She had ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Allbritten was a member of the New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where the funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. today with Rev. Gerald Owen and Rev. J. H. Thurman officiating. Burial will be in the New Concord cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Blalock, Paul Blalock, Taft Patterson, Thomas Bucy, Otis Bucy, and Rudolph Smith.
The J. H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
