Miss Anna Sophia Sievert died at the home of her brother, Fred Sievert, in Porter, Saturday, June 2, of pulmonary tuberculosis, after an illness of about six months, aged 16 years, 10 months and 15 days. The funeral was held Monday at 2 o'clock the services being conducted at the German Lutheran church, and the remains laid to rest in the Chesterton cemetery. Deceased was an estimable young lady, and her untimely end is sincerely mourned by all who knew her.
