She was born in Pulaski, TN on August 19, 1935, a member of Scotts Hill Baptist Church, and retired from Arvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Cora B. Nave Shelton, her husband, Aubrey McDougal, her son, Tommy McDougal, her daughter, Kay McDougal, her brother, James (Doc) Shelton, and her sister, Alice Howell.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Scotts Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Dale McDougal and wife Ellen of Cape Coral, FL, her daughter, Anita Beecham of Scotts Hill Community, her grandchildren, Jessica Baker and husband Nathan, Lauren Lake and husband Zayin, and Brandon Beecham, her step grandson, Josh Dunlow, her great grandchildren, Emma Baker and Morgan Baker, and her several nieces and nephews.
