Sally Ann Holmes, 63, of Lancaster, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
She was born in Watford, England to the late Eric and Kathleen (Green) Wise and was the wife of Thomas A. Holmes.
Sally earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from South Hampton University, England. She had worked for many years as a sales associate at Donecker’s and most recently at Vanscoy, Mauer and Bash. Sally was a keen gardener in the English tradition and loved fashion and jewelry. She enjoyed being in the sun and at the beach. She was the most loving of mothers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bret T. Holmes and two brothers, John and Eric Wise.
A viewing will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, followed by her funeral service at 1 pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
