Hugh Don Wilson, 80, of Kinard, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born in Sneads, Florida on October 6, 1938. Don was a veteran of the US Navy and was honored to serve his country. He was a hardworking man, a loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather. Don loved fishing and was an avid league bowler. He was a pilot and was very proud of his private pilot license he had attained. He loved his family and spending time with them. Don will be missed by his family and many friends.
Don is survived by his daughter, Donl Wilson Atkins of Kinard, FL; one son, Billy Wilson of Savannah, GA; two brothers, Tim Wilson of Atlanta, GA and Danny Wilson of Oxford, GA; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Helen Wilson; three daughters, Terrie Wilson Kelley, Wendy Lee Wilson, and Shirley Bolt Estes; and one brother Gene Wilson.
Visitation for family and friends will take place at Mill Springs Baptist Church Friday, December 21, 2018, at 1:00 PM CST. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM CST with Reverend Steven Conrad officiating. Interment will be private on a later date.
