Cindy graduated from Drummond High School in 1976 and later attended Ashland County Normal School. She married Ronald Roy of Washburn on May 20, 1970. Cindy worked at Northern States Power Company for 25 years. She later worked at the Ashland Daily Press where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed spending time reading, doing puzzles, scrapbooking and recently participated in the Garden Peepers Club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to South Padre Island, Texas, where they spent a couple of months each winter. Above all else, Cindy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was present at every activity and event, and spoke often of their accomplishments with pride and love.
She is survived by her husband, Ron of Mason; four children, Kelly Roy of St. Petersburg, N.J., Jason (Corinne) Roy of Mason, Kristy (Jeremy) Larson of Washburn and Kevin Roy of Washburn; a step-daughter, Tanya (Mark) Ricke of Parkersburg, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Thomas, Sophia, Jacob, Emily, Jordan, Chloe and John; five step-grandchildren, Jessica, Seth, Austin, Sadie and Malia; two step-great-grandchildren, Natalee and Catalina; siblings, Kim (Betty) Wallin, Vicki (Fred) Nafey, Chris (Jack) Iverson and Ginny (Mark Tody) Kern; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives; a special friend, Jan Tomlinson-Erickson and other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Terry Lofblad; and a nephew, J .C. Iverson.
