Age 79, of Millcreek, a son of the late Earl and Alta Calderwood Ramey. Bill graduated from Harbor Creek High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army. He was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching sporting events.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Ramey.
Bill is survived by his wife, Winifred Ramey, with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage; two sons, William (Esther) Ramey and Mark (Julie) Ramey; a daughter, Deborah Harris; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
