Eileen Brown, 87, went home to the Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Eileen was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family and a wonderful and kind friend to all who knew her. She was born on September 25, 1931 in Camden, New Jersey, the daughter of a fireman and homemaker. She attended Camden Catholic High School and after graduation she worked in a hospital, where she met her future husband William T. Brown, Jr. Bill and Eileen were married June 25, 1955 and together they raised three sons in a loving and very active family. They moved their young family from Haddon Township, NJ to Vienna, VA in 1968. After 30 years of marriage her husband Bill passed July 14, 1985. She maintained the family home in Vienna for more than thirty years following Bill's passing. Her home was always open and welcoming to all and nothing gave Eileen more pleasure than being with family and friends. She loved the annual family reunions at the Jersey Shore, her weekly bridge games, reading and sports. She particularly enjoyed baseball and she was always her sons' and grandchildren's number one fan. Survivors include her three sons, Bill (Alice), Mike (Jennifer) and Jim (Stephanie); and her four grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Collin and Kelsey. Eileen was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Bill, sisters, Kitty, Marie, Victoria and Anna May, and parents, Harry and Victoria Greenan. Visitation will take place on Friday evening January 18th at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Ave, Vienna, VA between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday January 19 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolftrap Rd. SE, Vienna, VA followed by burial at Fairfax Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairfax, VA.
