Nancy Maxwell Emmons, 71, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 in Cheyenne.

Nancy was born June 22, 1947 in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of Boyd and Bertha (Utley) Maxwell.

Nancy was valedictorian of Central High School in Akron. She graduated from Miami of Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She worked at B.F. Goodrich, the Jeep Corporation, and various schools. Her favorite job was teaching chemistry at Divine Savior Holy Angel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She enjoyed playing bridge, family and traveling.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Dan; daughters, Mariah Emmons and Mandy Schepp; son-in-law, Chad Schepp; and granddaughters, Cheyenne and Brynn Schepp.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Maxwell; and cousin, Ann Maxwell.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will take place in Fredericksburg, Ohio at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center.
