ELM CITY — Katherine Ellis Skinner, 84, died Monday. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash St. N., Wilson.
The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas-Yelver Obit Skinner ton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St. N., Wilson.
Surviving is her son, Greg A. Skinner (Donna) of Elm City; and two grandchildren, Tyler Skinner and Haley Skinner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Dee Skinner; parents, Wiley Lee and Bessie Edwards Ellis; one sister, Beulah Webb; and two brothers, Bo Ellis and Teener Ellis.
The Skinner family would like to give special thanks to Mary Ann Cooper, Lottie Distler, Ellen Page and Hoyt and Christine Brown for all the help and support given to Mrs. Skinner.
