About three weeks ago Miss Mary Coxford was taken ill with typhoid, and was removed to the Rosamond Memorial Hospital for treatment, but serious complications developed early in the course of the disease, and human effort proved unavailing in the fight against it, and the end came on Tueday evening. The deceased, who was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Jas Coxford, was born at Rosebank nearly 47 years ago, and has spent practically her whole life in the community. Of her brothers and sisters there are still thirteen living. These are David and John at Rochester, N.Y.; Arch and James at Edmonton; Mrs Alex Fulton and Mrs Chas Black at Fort William; Mrs William Barker, Almonte; Mrs R. Barker and Mrs M. Snedden, Ramsay; Thos in Ottawa and Robert, Herb and Wm in town. The funeral took place this (Thursday) afternoon from the residence of Mr Wm Barker in town to the eighth line cemetery and was attended by many whose regret at the sudden cutting off of one who was loved and esteemed was sincere and heartfelt. A harp from her fellow-employees in the Anchor, and a wreath from the C.O.C.F. were among the floral emblems.
