Funeral Services for Douglas D Fleming, age 83, of McNeill, MS, who passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019, will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Elder Terry Robertson will officiate the service.

A native of Salem Community, MS, he was retired from the Picayune Housing Authority. Doug was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends. Doug was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ford Fleming and Maluvia Landrum Fleming; his wife, Joan Lott Fleming; and his brothers, J.T. Fleming, Hayward Fleming, Carl Fleming, and Oswald Fleming.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Donna (Ben) Martin, Sheila (Roger) Mitchell, and Ronnie B. Fleming; 7 grandchildren, Dusty (Katie) Sorrells, Kristie (Hoyt Hughes) Hayes, Brandy Fleming, Christian (Whitney) Fleming, Jennifer Mitchell, Jaimee (Chris) Penton, and Jordyn Mitchell; 14 great grandchildren; his brother, Paul Fleming; his sisters, Hilda Lee, Odessa (Don) Lewis, and Lavada Parker; his sister-in-law, Marcelle Cutrer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
