Jimmy D. Palmer, 34, of Lewistown Mo., formerly of Mendon, passed away at 6:11 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at his home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1985, in Blessing Hospital, the son of Jimmy G. and Lori (Henze) Palmer. He married Shelly Flowers on May 20, 2006 in Quincy.
Jimmy attended Unity High School in Mendon. He worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart in Quincy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, Lori Henze of Lewistown, Mo., his father and step-mother, Jimmy G. (Donna) of Quincy; maternal grandmother, Patrica Henze of Lewistown; paternal step-grandparents, Paul and Treva Nieders of Quincy; brother, Matthew Steven (Lisa) Palmer of Ewing, Mo.; step-sister, Jessica (Charles) Howard of Monticello, Mo.; step-brothers, Jonathan Dillinger of Quincy and Brett McAllister of Durham, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Anna and Ian Palmer, Carson, Jayden and Tristen Howard; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronald Henze; paternal grandparents, Delbert Dean and Deloris Palmer, and cousins, Michael Henze and Cassie Henze.
Memorial services were at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon, with Rev. Connie Jenkins officiating. Interment followed in New Loraine Cemetery.
