Killed in action during WW II at Kollektiwsky - Kollektiwsky is about 25 km northwest of Voronezh, Russia. He belonged to the 9th Company, 140th Schützen Regiment at Medweshje as Obergefreiter and died of big shrapnel in both arms.

According to Dt. Volksbund Kassel his body will be moved to the War Cemetery in Kursk-Besedino, Russia - the date is yet unkown.
